Dorothy made Pretzel Dogs for lunch. They were inspired by a post on the Facebook Group PNWFoodies, of which we are members.
She also made more soft pretzels. This time, they had the desired pretzel shape to go along with the perfect soft pretzel color, taste, and texture. She made a cheddar sauce for dipping and I added the option of spicy brown mustard.
I had a bit of mustard ice cream left, so I made a pretzel dog split for lunch. I topped it with a spoonful of sweet relish, of course. The mustard flavor isn’t as pronounced when it’s combined with the hot dog and the pretzel flavors as it is by itself.
